Mission: Impossible (1996)

Rating: 7/10

(+) Some very thrilling heist scenes.

(+) Great sympathetic protagonist.

(+) Amazing soundtrack that has become legendary by now.

(+) Occasionally funny.

(+) Nice camera work.

(+) Great thrilling action sequences.

(+) Feels like a really oldschool spy movie with many fresh ideas at the time of it’s release.

(+) Complicated and interesting plot with nice plot twists…

(-) …But the plot and all it’s twists starts to get too hard to follow at some point.

(-) The ending action sequence did not age well, because of its overuse of special effects.

(-) Throughout the whole movie it is hard to understand the motivations that each character has for their actions.
